This is due to the strict regulations for the operation of gas grills: for example, they must not be operated unattended. We cannot and may not circumvent these regulations with Grill Control, and therefore do not offer WiFi coupling of the Grill Control devices.

Grill Control is controlled via an app that accesses the device from the smartphone via Bluetooth connection.

It is not possible to use the Grill Control Device without a smartphone and without the Grill Control App.

There are currently grill control devices for the manufacturers Broil King, Napoleon and Weber.

Supported models at Broil King:
Baron, Imperial, Regal, Signet, Sovereign and the Built-In series

Supported models at Napoleon:
Phantom, Prestige, Prestige Pro, Rogue

Supported models at Weber:
Genesis II, Spirit II

Supported models at Grillfürst:
G-series, S-series

Supported models at Rösle:
Videro series

You switch on the device by pressing the control button for about 3
seconds until the control button starts flashing.

To turn off the device, you also have to hold down the control button for about 3 seconds.

Charge the battery fully and then hold down the control button for about 3 seconds.

Turn off your device by holding down the control button for about 3 seconds. Once the device is turned off, press the control button again for about 10 seconds. This will reset the device to factory settings. This will remove all active Bluetooth connections to the device. Your data stored in the app will remain unaffected.
Resetting the device may be necessary before it can be paired with a new smartphone.

Reset the Bluetooth database in the app under "Settings".

The battery charging time is approximately 3 hours. We recommend that you turn off the Grill Control Device after each use, remove it from the grill and fully charge it again.

The device can be charged using standard USB chargers. We recommend the commercially available Grill Control USB power supply. The charging cable provided must be used to charge the device. Other cables, even similar ones, can damage the device.

Basically, you can only use your Grill Control Device with the models of a manufacturer that are specified on your device packaging. Within these models, you can use your device on all grills without any problems.

If that's not enough for you, you can use an adapter kit for a grill from another manufacturer. Check beforehand whether your grill model is compatible with Grill Control.

The Grill Control Device and accessories do not require regular maintenance when used as intended.

Cleaning with a damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent is sufficient.

Never clean under running water and under no circumstances put in the dishwasher!

In addition to the Grill Control Device, the Grill Control Starter Kit includes the grill thermometer, which measures the cooking chamber temperature, as well as a charging cable for the device and the magnetic adapter for a secure hold.

Optional accessories include companion devices that can be used to control additional burners in parallel, a probe thermometer for measuring the core temperature of your grilled food, a USB multi-charger for charging your devices, and adapter kits to adapt your device to other grill models.

Please note the following steps:

1. Turn the grill to the lowest setting.
2. Find the zero mark on the crown of the device and align it exactly with the ZERO position of the grill control
3. Now press the device onto the handle until it clicks into place and sits firmly on the handle.

Now you can start the grilling process as usual.

Grills are often outdoors and far from the nearest power outlet. Since there is a risk of tripping over extension cables, short circuits due to unexpected moisture, and more when charging, we have decided to eliminate this risk. When the battery is fully charged, your Grill Control Device has an operating time of 20 hours or more. This should allow you to relax even when grilling for long periods of time.
